About Food Pantry

REACH is only as strong as the support received by people like you.

We believe that food is a right and not a privilege. We provide healthy food options in a dignified and respectful manner through our Community Food & Nutrition Program.

REACH Food Pantry serves residents of DuPage County in need of food assistance. To qualify for food assistance, a household’s gross monthly income must be within the guidelines established by the Illinois Department of Human Services income guidelines for their family size or those who have food emergencies

The Food Pantry is located at 4300 Yackley Avenue, Lisle, IL 60532-1163. This permanent pantry is operated by volunteers who clean, sanitize, stock and pack food for at least 200 families each month. Food received to feed client families comes from the Northern Illinois Food Bank. The Food Pantry can be reached at 630-969-8274.

All clients in these service areas are able to receive food once every thirty days unless there is an emergency situation.

How to Enroll

Enrollment occurs at your first visit during regular food pick-up hours (listed above). For all clients, both new and existing, we require TWO (2) pieces of identification each time you register for food pick-up:

  1. A driver’s license, state ID, passport, or a consular ID card.
  2. A current utility bill in your name or the name of someone in your household, OR, if you do not have a current utility bill, a lease in your name.

Proxy Forms

If you are unable to pick up your food, you may have someone pick up your food on your behalf with a signed proxy form. Please call ahead to inform us of your need and instructions will be given for you and the person picking up your food. A signed proxy form is needed each time a food pick up is requested.
